Leah + Christian / The Biltmore Ballroom Atlanta Wedding

Customer service… yes, that’s a big part of business. In fact, in my opinion, that is the heartbeat of any business. Because in the end, what matters is people. People may think that they’re purchasing some”thing” or a product, but it’s really the experience. What they “feel” is what they’re investing in. If it doesn’t make them feel good, it will not be a good purchase. Other aspiring photographers and fellow business owners have asked us how we go about customer service. To me, it’s simple. Treat others as I want to be treated. (Luke 6:31) I don’t really have to have any “policy” in place for our company regarding customer service if this is the motto I’m going by. I don’t really think about it as “customer service”. My goal is to just treat our clients like our friends or simply just someone that I care about and to treat them as human beings should. I don’t treat them any different than I would a friend, so the way I am with them doesn’t become “work”… it becomes a wedding day that I want to celebrate with a friend.

One of the things I fell in love with my husband, Craig, is how he easily and effortlessly make others feel comfortable and befriends them. He has this innate, natural gift of being able to talk to anyone he encounters. It doesn’t matter if he just met them in the street of a foreign country. If he wants to, he will talk to them as if he’s known them for years, and I LOVE that about him! So yeah, he doesn’t make himself think “customer service” either… all he has to do is just be himself with our clients and they love it. BUT! Life isn’t perfect and everything isn’t always fair, so no matter what we do, we still have had people act ugly towards us, but that’s just part of business; part of life. But, 95% of the time we are so blessed to have couples who are nothing less than amazing and Leah + Christian are at the top of that list. Craig shot their proposal day when Christian asked Leah to marry him… I know! How sweet, right? And then, I was able to join for their engagement shoot. I have never met them before, but the moment I did at their engagement session, I fell in love with them right away and knew that we would have the best shoot, and we DID! I totally remember that fall day when we couldn’t stop laughing the entire time. Craig entertained them quite a bit especially when he literally climbed a tree to get a shot he wanted. Thank God he didn’t fall! Let me tell you… my life has never been so adventurous until I married him. The shoot went so smoothly that it almost felt so surreal to us. We went home from that shoot so fulfilled and beyond blessed to call what we do work.

When their wedding was coming up, we were extra excited. :) Knowing Leah + Christian, there was no doubt that we would have the smoothest wedding possible. Ya’ll… have you heard of dream weddings? Have you ever wondered if that could even exist? Yes! Leah + Christian proved that it does. They’re the MOST kind hearted human beings I now know. Just like their engagement shoot, their wedding day was incredible. From the beginning to the end, I don’t remember even feeling stress which is pretty unheard of on a wedding day. But, when you have someone like Leah who is THE sweetest person, what stress could you possibly feel? She was beautiful, she was on time, she laughed and giggled the whole time… I mean, what more could you ask for in a bride? And then our groom, Christian. He looked totally handsome, only nice things came out of his mouth, and he too was on time. Did I mention them being on time? ;) Ah… yes, their wedding was a dream, but it was a photographer’s dream wedding too which all photographers will know what I mean. On top of all this, they had their wedding in one our fav venues in Atlanta, the Biltmore. Leah + Christian, I could go on so much more, but I think you get the point that we adore you guys immensely! Thank you for your kind spirit. Thank you for being such a light in our world… Your love and respect for each other and for those around you is what give this world hope. It’s what makes life worth living. I pray that your love will continue to grow and that your marriage will inspire those that you influence. Thank you for being you. Craig and I had the best time celebrating your day. We hope you had the best time on your honeymoon! We loved seeing your happy faces on your Instagram posts! Happy marriage and we will talk to ya’ll soon!

With much love,

Craig + Unchong
