Family… it’s something we all desire to have and work very hard for. Now that I have a family, I realize just how much grit you need to sustain a good, loving family. Family is everything… that’s a saying that I couldn’t relate to for a long time. I come from a broken family, and my mom is all the family I’ve had. There were times when she wasn’t there either and I was handed from place to place. But, God does miracles and even though my family didn’t look ideal or perfect, my mom’s remarriage saved us.
To say that Erica was the happiest bride we've ever seen is an understatement. As soon as we walked into the hotel room where she was getting ready, it was already party time! Music was blasting and the our bride and all of her bridesmaids were singing along to all of their fav songs together. It wasn't just singing, this was a broadway performance!
So, before engagement shoots, one of the things that Craig gets to do with our couples is meet them in person at the consultation meeting and really get to know one another. One of the things I get to do is plan the engagement shoot with them. The most fun part of that is discussing their outfit choices! So, I texted Melvin to see what they had so far, and he said, "I'm wearing 1800 colonial american clothes.. and tori is wearing the swim suit from borat." (exact words).
Rain... we've been getting a lot more of it than we would have liked this summer. It's as if Georgia has become Florida... hot and humid during the day and then afternoon thunderstorms in the afternoon... Well, because Fraderica + TJ didn't have first look on their wedding day, they decided to do a post wedding session. We were stoked when they told us that it was going to be at the Swan House!
