The older I get, the more I cherish the people we get to meet… I say, “we get to meet” because it’s a blessing! We truly cherish the relationships that we have made and kept over the years, and we are so old now that I find myself frequently saying, “Oh yeah… we’ve been knowing so and so for over a decade!” LOL!
Some people have a special gift in welcoming and making that person feel like family… They invite you, encourage you, feed you, ask about you… They just know how to simply love someone. It comes so naturally, so genuinely and authentically. Emily and her bridesmaids got ready at her parents’ house and as soon as we entered their home , that’s exactly how they made us feel.
