Asia + Ansu / Atlanta History Center Swan House Wedding

We met this bride's family yeeeeeears ago... Like over 13 years ago when we used to work in the youth ministry of our church.  That was a time before we were even married... not a thought about having a photography business crossed our minds.  In fact, we weren't even into photography at all!  Isn't it amazing how time can change things?  I think sometimes we are so fixated on just what's present that we neglect to see the future.  But, if you keep your eyes, mind and heart open to what the future can hold, big things can happen!

Well, last August, we received an inquiry from Asia and Ansu saying that her mom knew us from our youth ministry days and that she loved our work.  WHAAAAT?  I clearly remembered Asia's mom... she was a dedicated mom who did whatever she could do for the spiritual well being of her children.  To be reconnected this way after so many years was absolutely exciting.  When their wedding day finally arrived, we saw some familiar faces and we couldn't believe how much the teens that we knew them as grew up!  Love seeing faces we know because it makes us feel like family that much more.  As you can see, Asia was just beyond beautiful and Ansu was one dapper groom.  Together, they looked so happy and complete.  Knowing Asia's mom already was so special... Because we have seen her in action as a mom and because we are parents ourselves now, we could connect with her emotions and knew that this day was indeed a special day.

As everyone finished getting ready, the moment of Asia and Ansu's first look was getting close!  We all arrived at Swan House and patiently waited for everything to get set up for our groom to see his lovely bride for the first time.  And... could they have picked a better venue?  I think not!  I can't even describe to you how magnificently beautiful it was... It was a perfect match for this couple whose style was timeless and classy.  So much anticipation was there as we set up the bride and groom for the most perfect first look spot.  As Asia walked down those stairs, Ansu turned to see her and his expression was simply priceless!  His jaw literally dropped... what a moment!

Have you guys ever been to the Atlanta History Center?  No?  Then, you must.  It is just crazy.... In a good way that is.  :)  My brain couldn't stop running because everywhere I turned, there were gorgeous spots and the entire bridal party was gorgeous too!  It was a wedding photographer's dream... And the weather gave us the most ideal temperature for an outdoor wedding.  So yeah... everything was pretty much perfect!  I think you'll agree with me as you scroll down to view the images.

Asia and Ansu, it was truly a pleasure spending the entire day with you!  We had the best time with you guys... thank you, thank you and THANK YOU for this opportunity.  Everything about your wedding will be remembered.  We are so happy that we got to know each other through such a joyous occasion.  We feel so blessed!  Hope your love continues to grow for one another more and more everyday.... Congratulations!

With much love,

Craig & Unchong
