Adaugo + Allen / Cator Woolford Gardens & Piedmont Park Engagement

As I’m sure that many of you have, I’ve learned countless things during this special season in our world.  One thing I’ve noticed is that people who are successful stay successful no matter what.  The thing that carries them through any circumstance is their character.  Because here’s the thing… circumstances change, but character doesn’t.  We follow some amazing artists and youtubers and one day when we were watching one youtube video, I was so fascinated by the way this guy creatively continued making his videos.  Part of that particular video was him explaining what changes he made to make certain things still happen during the quarantine.  You may compliment that he’s creative and is a genius and while these things are still true, I believe it’s because he has GRIT.  Because even if you have creativity, if you don’t have GRIT, then you don’t have the will power to make your creative ideas happen.  More than what that guy was trying to teach through that video, that is what I learned.  I was feeling so down that day… just confused, hopeless, and utterly stressed out.  About our kids, our business, my mom, and just the state of our world.  But, noticing this guy’s grit encouraged me so much…. it made stand up and say, “you know what?  I can do that too and through God’s strength, anything is possible.”  After this realization is when I received a text from Allen asking if it was ok for him and Adaugo to get a few shots during their e-session with their cap and gown because they BOTH graduated med school.  When he asked… the mom side of me came out and was like, “OF COURSE!!!!!!!” Why would I say no to that? Oh my goodness…. what an accomplishment.  Graduating school is no easy task, but when it’s MED school, that’s amazing, but when you do that during a quarantine season because of this infectious virus called COVID-19 is going on, that is a miracle!  That is what you call GRIT!  Yes!  I’m not their mother, but I was so proud of them!  Really, BRAVO…!  I hope that our kids will grow up to have the type of endurance that Allen + Adaugo have shown. Ok, so you get the point that they’re super smart, but I don’t have to write anything to tell you how beautiful they are on top of that because the photos will speak for themselves about that. Smart and beautiful… yaaaaaaasssssss!!! Allen + Adaugo, you guys are incredible. Going to med school, surviving the corona, planning a wedding and still looking flawlessly beautiful is quite an accomplishment.  Thank you for all your hard work…. I know you guys are making this world a better place.  We canNOT wait to see you again in 2021 on your wedding day.  Stay amazing!

With much love,

Craig + Unchong
