Ashley + Jamal / Sope Creek Ruins Engagement Portraits

The way God created everything is pretty magical, isn’t it? There’s this divine reasoning for why He did what He did with every small detail to being things, and marriage is one of them. For Him to create a man and a woman to come together to become this perfect team is a remarkable thing. Craig and I have been married for over 17 years now, and it’s been a beautiful journey with some ugly roads that we had to endure at times, but by His grace, we are understanding more and more that love endures all things. Love is not about us, it’s about the other person. Love is not what makes us happy, it’s about what makes the other one smile. Love is not inward or selfish, it’s outward and is selfless. This world teaches us differently, but as God being the source of our truth, we must follow what He wants in our lives and when we do, His grace is abundant. Seeing Ashley + Jamal and just how they are so in love with one another is a great reminder of how good God is. You can tell in how they look at each another and what they say about one another is beautiful. When we sent Jamal one of the wide shots as a sneak peek, he replied with, “Wow, she’s beautiful even from far away!” I know! So sweet, right??! Awe…. is what I said too! :) We had such a great time with them at Sope Creek Ruins which is truly a gem in Georgia which was a perfect fit for this couple who is a gem in God’s eyes as well. Ashley + Jamal, we are so happy to have met you and getting to know you has been a pleasure. We can’t wait for December to get here because your wedding is going to be quite a celebration. Congratulations on your engagement and we look forward to saying congratulations on your wedding at the end of the year! It’s going to be here so fast! Until then… we hope you enjoy your portraits. Thank you for allowing us to serve you!

With much love,

Craig + Unchong
