Have you met people in your life where every word that they spoke made you feel special? That was Sophie + Janic for us… Even when we were in the booking process with them, they were just so sweet and encouraging. We had their engagement shoot set up first, and I just knew that they were sentimental when they chose their workplace as their location. The reason is because they met here… so sweet, right? When they described the place, Craig was so stoked because if you know him… he LOVES taking photos with cars. Half of his favorite shots of all time are with our couples WITH cars! It was such a unique location idea! When we got there, they both gave us a tour and what a neat workplace it was. Another cool thing about it was that our two previous grooms worked there too and we saw them! They all know each of course and that’s how Sophie + Janic got referred to us. It was like a mini reunion. It was cool to see them and our other grooms “do their thing”. What people do for a living has always been so fascinating to me! Craig and I have been working from home for so long now that when we see places like that, it makes us miss co-workers and the experience of a workplace for sure… It was so cool to learn that Janic was from Germany who then moved to Boston and then came to Alabama! What a journey, right? Wow, how two people can meet is the neatest thing to me…. Wish we had more time to actually see what they do more in detail. I asked Craig and he had to explain in layman terms, but basically these guys make cars go faster. :) If you need more details, please ask them. I just know that it’s pretty cool! Another reason why Sophie loved this spot was because of the sunset that this place gets! And was she right or what?! We made sure that the sunset shot happened and it was truly one of the most gorgeous sunsets I’ve ever seen… the glow was literally magnificent! WOW! Gosh you guys… I can’t tell you enough of how much fun we had with them. We totally got each other’s humor, so between Craig and Janic’s jokes, I just laughed for two whole hours. Sophie + Janic, you guys were a total blast! So glad that the weather finally decided to cooperate (third time is the charm, right? lol). We seriously can’t wait to see you all again on your wedding day! It’s going to be one heck of a day! Thank you for everything and we will see you in a couple of months.
