Amy + Collin / At the Lake & Horse Stables Engagement Portraits

The older I get, the more I cherish the people we get to meet… I say, “we get to meet” because it’s a blessing! We truly cherish the relationships that we have made and kept over the years, and we are so old now that I find myself frequently saying, “Oh yeah… we’ve been knowing so and so for over a decade!” LOL! The older you get, the larger the unit of measurement becomes! I used to measure in just “years”, but now it’s in “decades”. Wow! Amy is much younger than we are, but we met her 11 years ago at her sister’s wedding and because she’s stayed in the wedding industry all these years, we have kept in touch with her through the Buford Community Center. She has ALWAYS been so kind and welcoming, and we hope she knows how much that has meant to us… She goes above and beyond in making someone’s big day their best day and serves all vendors and others genuinely. I (Unchong) have always thought she was so beautiful! Even looking through these photos, I told Craig, “wow… she is seriously so pretty!” With looks like that, talent like that, and character like that, I knew that it was going to take one confident man to make her fall in love. We have waited for the day when she emailed us that she was engaged! We were so excited and couldn’t wait to meet the guy that popped the question. We both wondered…. “What does he look like???” “What does he do????” “OMG, he better be good to her!” LOL! She told us a bit about him on the phone, and we were beyond impressed by his credentials. Well, their engagement shoot day finally came, and ya’ll… it was the most perfect day. We all have had a very long summer this year, but the evening of their engagement was literally perfect. NO sweating at all! YESSSSSSS! But, who cares about the perfect weather when we got to meet HIM! You know how they say that first impressions are important? Well, as soon as we met him, I said in my head, “APPROVED!” (Like Amy needs our approval, but I’m just saying!). He was so nice, approachable and comfortable to talk to. Together, they were the most picture perfect couple. Perfect height difference, they both had the bluest eyes I’ve ever seen that just popped especially through the lens, and gosh, they’re just so good looking, you know? Barbie and Ken… you got nothing! I’ll let the photos speak for themselves because as you can see, it’s my fav engagement shoot of the year, but what I enjoyed most was our dinner together afterwards. We decided to make their consultation on the same evening, so it worked out. We talked as if we’ve been knowing each other for years. They’re both so down to earth and easy to talk to… we talked about all kinds of things, the sushi was awesome, and overall, it was a great double date. And now, we get to present these photographs to them, and we couldn’t be happier. Amy was happy about the sneak peeks, so we hope that the rest of the photos exceed her expectations too! Amy + Collin, can you tell that we love you guys? We are truly so happy for you, and can’t wait to see what your lives together hold! You guys are such a power couple and together, we know that you will make a strong and positive impact around you and inspire those who encounter you. I mean, you already have. Thank you for serving our community with integrity and dignity. We appreciate all that you do! Out of all the vendors that you know, you chose us, and it truly means so much! We are honored to be able to capture your love for one another and we can’t wait for your big day in April!

With much love,

Craig + Unchong
