Brittney + Patrick / Ashton Gardens & Swanee Town Center Wedding

Sometimes I wonder how we can be this blessed to have such amazing couples for our weddings? We’ve been in business for 15 years now, and I can honestly say that we have only had literally a handful of “difficult” situations. We don’t take it for granted especially because we have heard some crazy stories. Brittney + Patrick have been so amazing to work with… you may think that I say this about everyone, but that’s not true. We only say what we mean, and seriously… they’re so sweet! You see the smiles on these photos?? Well, they had those smiles on their entire wedding!! It never went away. And, I love that about them! They treat people with such kindness and respect… Our world has gone through a lot of negativity, but I don’t buy into all of that because there’s so much hope for our world now and the future when people like them are in it. They allow me to see the goodness of God and give me faith to stay strong in Him. We enjoyed every part of this big day because of their big smiles and the contagious joy they expressed. Brittney + Patrick, keep smiling and keep influencing our world with much love as you do! We pray that you have a thriving marriage that continues to impact others positively. It was truly a pleasure celebrating you both on your wedding day! We hope you cherish these photos for many years to come! Thank you for having us!!

With much love,

Craig + Unchong

These days, I have been reminded through many circumstances that character is always more important than talent or any skill that someone has. We are seeing this more and more as our kids are getting older and older. Recently, our oldest received the most honorable award called, “coach’s award” in her volleyball team.

Growing up, my family didn't travel much… not at all actually. So when we started our own family, we knew that traveling would be a priority. Discovering new places, seeing exotic sites and adventuring together have been something we value as a family together.

Every wedding is special to us of course, but this one in particular was VERY special! The realities of what the pandemic brought to the wedding industry was devastating for many including us.

There are so many things to consider when planning a wedding… what time of year, the city, the usual weather conditions of that season, outdoor/indoor ceremony, the venue and who would be willing to fly out there, etc, etc, etc…

Something that makes a couple’s portraits different from photographing one person is the fact that a couple needs chemistry. Without it, it’s hard… You can’t make or teach two people have chemistry when they simply don’t.

What makes us all a human are the emotions that we feel everyday. Emotions is what makes us be alive and real. How dull life would be without it, right? We understand each other because we all have those same emotions.

I believe that people who are sentimental are usually the ones that fall in love with portrait photography… they value it because it’s beyond just taking photos. There’s meaning behind each shot and the purpose of why they’re taking them.
