One of the most common questions we get is, "How do you get your clients?"  We meet them through many different ways, but one of the ways is at weddings!  We meet at least one engaged couple who is very interested in our photography and we book them!  And yes, this is how I met Kyle for the first time!

I believe that everything happens for a reason.  That nothing is just a coincidence.  Even with our clients, I know that it's more than "just business".  There's more of a reason than just because they booked us.  I know because I believe in a God who is far bigger than that, and I believe that he has everything under control.

Every shoot is special to us, but we got to do something very rare with Sara + Corey, and actually, this is the first time we've ever done this with a couple.  CAR POOL!  We picked them up from their place and drove a little over 2 hours to Lindale Mill in Rome, GA.

It's so cool how we have a unique story to tell for every shoot that we do.  Through these stories, we remember all of our couples.  We shoot about 40 weddings a year (give or take about 5) and  about 50 portraits sessions and other gigs. That's a lot!

Got up early this morning because I know it's going to be a good day. Why?  Because it's Stephanie + Sydney's wedding day!  We are throwing it back to their engagement session from last fall and just reminiscing on how fun that day was.  You see that cute photo above?  Yeah.... they're as cute as the pic; actually, they're even cuter.  :)

How do we know Christine + Eugene, you ask?  She's the sister of a friend of a friend of a brother and sister's husband.  LOL  Just kidding... but really, she's my friend's sister-in-law. :)  Our friend referred Christine to us, and it meant so much... Getting new clients through a referral is still the most fulfilling way of growing our business.

It's still kinda crazy to me that some of our clients either fly here or fly us to their location for shoots.  This October marks 10 years of our business which is just crazy wild to believe.  I look back and sometimes it's all a blur because everything happened so fast, but then again, I remember every detail of the journey.

We all know that weddings take a lot of planning, but did you know that engagement portraits require a lot of work too?  I think one expectation that couples don't have for e-sessions is the planning that goes behind it.

"Do you ever get tired of weddings?" is a question that we often get asked.  Are you kidding me?  No... We have lost count, but since our business has begun, we have shot around 300 weddings now, and we have cried at every single one at one point of the wedding or another.

When did Spring ever begin at the end of April in Georgia?  We all know that we've been experiencing unusual weather this year, but it's slowly, but surely becoming Hotlanta again!  I didn't ever think that I would miss the heat, but I guess I've become a true Southerner, and that heat is feeling good.
